Smile '77 F-350 radius arm blues

Hi,

I've got a chance to buy a 1977 F-350 Camper Special with a 351M from a friend for a REAL good price. I haven't seen it yet, but for the most part the truck is reputedly in very good condition. Even the original front cab mounts are immaculate. It's only problem is that it has a broken radius arm, on which side I can't remember. First question...is that the correct name for the part the controls fore and aft movement , attaches to the I beam and to a mount behind it? Are they the same side for side? What years and models will interchange...F-100, F-150, F-250? I may be posting a "Wanted" ad in the Classifieds because I don't want a rusty one from Oh if possible. I've owned a lot of old F series Ford trucks over the years but never ran into a problem with one of these before.

Thanks for any help you guys can give me..

They are different side to side, and radius arms are the correct name for them.
On F100s the arms from 67-72 trucks will work on 73-79 trucks, the same may hold true for the larger trucks.
It's too bad you are in OH, I've got a set of the cast 67-72 arms here-
