Differential Friction Modifier

anyone know on a 2000 Navi if it will hurt if i add rear friction modifier to the rear end if it has already been added?
i had the fluid changed but i am unsure if the mechanic added the modifier so i am wanting to add some due to having the shimmer/vibration feel when i am at a stop sign making a right or left turn. thanks all

Since you're unsure, your best bet is to drain it and fill it yourself. For the hour of your time and the few bucks for the fluids, it's worth not destroying your differential and sleeping better at night.

What i would do is take it back and let them take your navigator for a ride with you in it and let them explain to you why this is happening after just having it changed. If you don't get any satisfaction, go to the manager. The mech. could have forgotten to put it in or it coulda been a new mech. You paid for the service, they should make it right. Good luck.

Too much modifier won't necessarily hurt but it will make your LS not work very well.

I agree that you should ask the folks who serviced it to remedy it.
