i have a great set of 99 tow mirrors that have muth signal mirror glass installed (have LED arrow in them) i want to put on 04 tow mirrors but move my mirror glass to the new mirrors

is the glass interchangable on 99-07 tow mirrors?

Sure...why wouldn't it be? Then again...there were some changes between the years like ability to extend and addition of factory signal/running lights. That could have changed the mounting tabs for the mirror but I would doubt it.

Why don't you just pop off the mirrors and have a looksee.

i havent bought the 04 mirrors yet and dont want to untill i am sure i can use my signal glass in them

 

my dealer says there are different part numbers for the 99-02 vs 03-07 mirror
anyone know if the mirror glass will interchange please

 

I believe 03 is when the clearance lights/turn signals were added to the mirrors. That might be why the part numbers are different.

I'm thinking the 99 glass mirror will fit, but if the 04 has heated mirrors you will lose that function as I think it is built into the glass.
