Torque Converter Question

OK, Bronco Guru's, I am finally getting ready to put my new motor and transmission back in after draining the Transmission, including the Torque Converter. My question is there any special thing I need to do when I fill up the transmissions? Will it fill up the Torque Converter on its own? Or do I need to fill up the Torque Converter separately?

Less wear on the pump if you fill the converter. Also, not as much burping on the system.

You did not say what transmission so here is my experience.... On my E4OD I added about 6 qts to transmission then ran engine only about a half a minute. Repeated and shifted gears this time. Then 3 qts and drove it thirty minutes to check level. Added 1 qt. Be sure to use ATF fluid specified on dipstick. 16 qts for mine. Transmission fills torque converter.

Go with the experts. I only replaced the fluid.
