Having problems installing street scene grille

I am having issues putting the street scene grille on my F-150. 1st issue is the grille shape isn't matching up with the opening very well. 2nd issue is the clips are not clipping on at all according to what the instructions are telling me to clip the grille to. I really need some input because it is starting to piss me off!!!!!!!

You can tweak the grille to fit better, I haven't installed any that fit perfectly without some work ( I've done a few dozen of varying brands.) Street scene is a very easy grille, tweak it so it fits nicely in the opening, then hold it the opening and slide the clips on from the back. It doesn't really matter where they lock, as long as the pinch the SS grille to the OE shell. Just try to put the clips very 6" or so.

Look, see these two tow hooks? They look like tusks. And what kind of animal has tusks?

there's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I like to think that I walk that line every day of my life.

I ended up sending my SS grill for my 150 back. The main grill was damaged and the lower valance piece was about 2" too short but was .5" too tall. IMHO, not even a close call. Plus the grill was of such light weight material, a large bug would have done some real damage. Not at all what I expected from the description on the web site I bought from. I bought my billet grill for my 08SD from...... Ford Billet Grille Insert,Grill,Custom Aluminum Billet Grilles,Ford Mustang,F150,Super Duty,Excursion,Expedition,Explorer,Ranger,Econolin e Van,Chevy,GMC,Dodge,Lincoln,Toyota,Nissan,Mazda
Great grill, heavy duty and well made.

I had enough with the grille so I packaged it back up and went to the UPS store to ship back out. I am gonna get the Carriage Works monster bar grille for my F-150. I have had no issues with Carriage Works, so I shouldn't have any problems installing it when it comes in.

The mesh grilles are stronger then you give them credit for once they are clipped in, but Carriage works is an excellent choice.
