Truck won't start

96 f150
4.9
93xxx miles
m5od
dual tanks

First off, my front fuel pump is weak, back one works great.

Truck would start fine, then it would not start again when I shut it off, unless it sat for a long time. Then it died on me while driving. Towed it home, started up in the driveway.

I went and got a new module, the one on the fender. Truck started fine. Problem solved? Nope, it died at the hardware store, and it would not start even after sitting there all day. Went and got a new cap and rotor. No luck. Got a new pickup coil, still no luck. The whole damn ignition system has been replaced, and I am still not getting spark. I pulled a plug so I could watch for it to spark, but nothing. What else is there to check? I'm already in it for $150 with no luck

Thanks for the suggestions. I went out and checked all my fuses, but it hasn't worked yet. I'm going to keep messing with it tomorrow. If anybody else has any ideas feel free to chime in. Thank you for your help JJ I'm hoping to get her running tomorrow so I need all the help I can get.

I'm tempted to put a for sale sign on her, but I know I'd regret it. I'll get it fixed and it'll be good for a long time again.

If this is an on and off problem you probably have a bad wire connection somewhere and changing parts will not help unless you just happen to hit the right wire, go through your system and make sure all grounds are good and there is no corrosion on the positive sides, also pin connectors have been known to come out so be sure they are all the way in. This is time consuming but you need to be sure what you have is capable of working before guessing at what parts to change.
Happy hunting.
