factory sub with navigation........

Hi all. I had an 06 f150 screw with the factory sub box. I just picked up my 08 f150 screw with navigation. I plugged in the sub box from the ,06 to the 08 and it doesn't work.

So I called my ford dealer and they told me that the navigation needs to be pulled out and reprogrammed to make the sub work. Does anybody here know how to do that?? Is it simple or should I just take it in and have it done?

Try this first.

Unplug the battery for about 10 min and see if this resets the system. If not then take it in.

It's true, the radio needs to be programed. This is what needs to be done on any factory radio that gets replaced in the newer Fords. Any good dealer will be able to do this. If not than contact H&H Distributers in Texas 800 631 0681.
