Hey guys New to the board...I need help with installing a new radio into my truck. Can anyone tell me a good place to find a diagram or pix of what I should be doing to take out the stock ford radio without messing anything up? Thanks !

 

Once you get the center trim piece yanked off, it's pretty straight forward to remove some screws to get the radio out.

I like using a harness adapter so I don't have to chop up the factory harness. Installer.com has harnesses and a bunch of pinout pictures of the backs of Ford stereos if you search for '05 F150.

 

Best Buy usually has those harnesses in stock also.

just carefully remove the surrounding trim and you're golden

 

Wallmart has those harness adapters too..
