fords all the way is starting off with a positive reputation.
knock sensor?????

i was testin the codes on my truck its a 94 f150 300 and it threw a knock sensor i was wondering where this is located and how much willl it cost for me to replace it

I found the part number easy enough, but where it goes, I can't remember. Mebbe someone else will know.

OldMetal is starting off with a positive reputation.
The knock sensor is located on the side of the block, what it does is detect pinging/knocking and retards the timing when needed. You can test it by taking a small hammer and lightly but quickly tapping on the block next to it, if it's working the idle should slow down a bit as the timing changes.
