Exclamation Ignition coil...install...

Has anyone ever installed an ignition coil on a 69 Bronco? I think the motor is from a 1973. The motor is a 302. after i install the coil it should start up..or at least turn over, right? If it doesn't what do i look at next?...the starter solenoid and starer?

Come on guys...come through for me1

There is nothing special about installing a coil. Just unbolt the bracket, undo the wires. Remove the bracket from the coil and install the new one. Make sure that the wire going to the distributor is attached to the - side of the coil.

The coil will not make the engine turn over. It only supplies spark to the dist secondary (plug wires).

If the engine won't turn over, have you tried to turn it over by hand at the crankshaft? If not, you may have some other issues to deal with.

nope. I don't have any of that stuff. all i know is when i turn the key i get nothing natta zilch! the battery is not the problem, i'm sure. i need to test the line from the bat to the ignition coil, to the starter solenoid to the starter. and the starter and starter solenoid also need testing themselves. I don't really know if any of those really work.
