Why won't a mini pack leveling kit work on my 92 F350? I know the U-bolts will probably be wrong, but the mini pack itself should work, right? I'm looking to level my truck, about 1 1/2 to 2 inches and I'd rather not stiffen the ride with an Add-a-Leaf. Any other suggestions?

Thanks to all, I've been searching here for the last few weeks, Great Site!
This is the kind of kit I'm thinking of, then getting the proper U-bolts to work with the '92 front axle. This wouldn't stiffen the ride nearly as much as an add-a-leaf, and cost much less than a set of lift springs.
Please don't use that mini pack. It is not properly made. The ends are welded and it's not the right type of steel!!! I'm going to look for the thread that we discussed this in.

Thanks for the info. I'm not stuck on any brand of mini pack, just trying to figure out if it's a safe way to level my old beast. Seems to me if it's safe on a SuperDuty then it'd be OK on my '92.
Can anyone recommend a better quality minipack?
What makes a minipack better than a lift block? Is "minipack" a new name for a lift block?
Check this site out, Performance Sales Online (803) 600-2149. They say they have the safest springpack on the market made for our trucks leafs. I,m going with these.
