Ahh, I registerd just so I could view the picts. Thats Just like mine outside. Your inside is configured more Like I wanted mine. I would like more room in the back. Mine Has 4 captin chains and a rear bench that folds in a tool box. I also like that center console alot more in yours than mine. Mine has the heated and cooled beverage holder that only holds 12 oz cans. Yours has more storage, bigger cup holders and looks like I could squeeze my radio in there somewhere. You got a STEEL on that deal, I paid 7 or 8 grand (kant remember). If the engine and tranny are good, Thats already worth $1800, what you paid for it. And the banks sidewinders already another coupple grand or $3000 if its new. Since you have kids and mine seats 7, want to trade complete interiers?? Your kids are going to have an indoor playground with a tv compared to that car you said you was haullin them in!. You may have to teach your wife how to parallel park that thing though. And get used to parking at the back of wal mart. No close parking places for these trucks!

How well does it run? Whats the tranny issue? And some better pics of the inside would be awsome. Looks like it was a little bright when you took those. But them last pictures look great. I really like that paint schem. I wish they still painted trucks that way. I guess the few that are stick out in the crowd though. Anyway, looks like you got a SMOKIN deal.

Follow the directions from there.

Need a bit more info about your tranny problem.

Sounds like the torque converter clutch is locking and unlocking. The stalling may be caused by cracked pickup tubes in the tanks.

I think George has hit the nail on the head with both issues.

The tank problem, since it is both tanks, would be best addressed by removing the bed, then removing the tank sending units.
There is a plastic extension on the fuel supply tube that is either cracked, or has fallen off the supply tube.
A short piece of rubber fuel line slid over the suction line will cure the problem.
Be sure you cut a V in the bottom end of the tube so it can not suck against the tank bottom cutting off the fuel flow when you install the hose.

Well there are bigger ones......

That might be a cowboy limo but you ever seen a redneck limo?

And it is Ford Uhaul on one end, Chevy pickup on the other.
Also notice, some of the doors open one way, the rest either open the other way or not at all.

Looks like it was a U-haul 5 ton box truck in a previous life. Impressive, but all the work that will have to go into it to make it clean makes my skin crawl. That, and the fact that its a chevy.

This is when you would probably actually need that rear axle steering that chevy put on some of their suberbans so you can swing that rear end around while turning...

Just a quick macco paint job would make that thing look 10 times better. And some good leather seats and fold down couch from the salvage yard, some window tint, more running lights, ect. Looks like he has them High doller clearence lights on the front cab, like the ones you see on the big rigs.

It looks too me as it is all chevy/gm anyways. Notice the crease that is perfectly lined up from the bed to the front door? Also notice the chevy mirror? What about that side blinker. I don't think ford had that setup. Our Large Ford/IHC box trucks at work don't have that side blinker either.
