I have been reading all the information about the 2001 F-150 SuperCrew owners who bought the Class III trailer option, which is suspose to have the larger radiator, battery, and alternator. I checked mine, and sure enough, I do not have the correct radiator, battery....and I assume the alternator is not the correct one as well. I visited the Ford dealer a few days ago, and they are checking it out too....clearly the specs. call for a radiator that is approximately 1.42", instead of the 1.00" that have installed...and my battery is a 65 amp, and is suppose to the 70 something.

My question is.....several people on this message board have complained to their dealer, and Ford directly...but, I have yet to hear if any of you have had any resolution to this problem. Would you please advise me if you have had any success holding Ford to their promised specification?

I live in Texas, and need all the cooling I can get...and when I bought the truck, I thought that was what I was getting....makes me would what happened....did Ford think we would not be bright enough to figure out that they didn't live up to their specifications?
