Question Stock rubber dizzy cover, from mustang.

I am trying to get my hands on a couple of these, the factory part number is E5TE-12252-AA. I know for sure they came on later 80s early 90s stangs, possibly other sources. Anybody know of a good aftermarket place to get em?

Try junk yard, the Crown Vics and Grand Marquis also had them 86-91, maybe other years.

PS I see you like demos, we would put these covers on the Fords to protect the dist cap from water if they didn't already have one on.

That's not the part number, that's the ID number off the part itself.

1956 and later: Numbers found on parts are not the actual Ford part numbers, they're ID numbers.

This is the Ford part number

E6TZ12252A .. Dizzy Shield / MSRP: $22.80 / ftepartsguy.com price: $12.31

Don't forget about 84-92 Lincoln Mark VII and 83-88 Continental. They all had them (except for the 84-85 Diesels).

Just an FYI. The 87-92 Mark VII's are also a great source for 5.0 HO motors. They are usually much less abused than Mustang motors due to the clientele. Perfect candidates for Ford trucks with regular 5.0 EFI's. (hint, hint).
The Mark VII was basically a Mustang GT in a Tuxedo, without the 5-speed option. (It's a super easy swap though, just ask my daughter.) Many Fox Mustang guys know this, but it's strange that how many don't. In the local yards Mustangs quickly become bare shells, while the Fox Lincolns go to the crusher with the suspension and driveline complete.
That's OK, more cheap parts for me.
