46fordtruck has a good reputation on FTE. 46fordtruck has a good reputation on FTE.
There is one of these lights on eBay as we speak eBay Motors: 1932 Ford Deitz Head Light With Marker Hotrod Ratrod (item 110252070771 end time May-18-08 15:57:50 PDT)

Don't believe they are original '32 Ford lights, but the seller using that a keyword. The top of bucket mounted parking light wasn't something ot be seen until the late '30's.
Another thing to remember, there were lots of manufacturers of aftermarket headlights in the 20s'-50's. This may not have been an original OEM product, this could have been an aftermarket replacement, especially with the advent of sealed beam headlights.

It's not genuine Ford, that I can tell you. A trip to either Vintage Ford in HB, or CW Moss west of the traffic circle in Orange will confirm that. Show one of the guys that picture...They'll tell you, it's not anything Ford made.

If this ebay lamp was 'genny,' it wooda been sold by now.

44farmtruck is starting off with a positive reputation.
I would like to replace the headlight knob/shaft in the dashboard of a 1944 1.5 ton truck. I have the new part and an old salvaged assembly to look at. It appears to be a press-in / quarter-turn type of insertion, but I am not having any luck. Can anyone give me any pointers? Thanks.
