Some tranny confusion

I was trying to pin down which tranny I have.

I have the following cast into the side:

RFF81P 7006 AA

My truck is a 1999 F250SD 4X4. My confusion is one website I visited showed a pic of my year being equipped with the 4R100 and that it should have side PTO port if its a 4X4. My truck has a conventional transfer case mounted on the tail of the tranny.

???

Okay it looks like the side PTO port is an accessory port of some kind unrelated to the 4x4. Still not sure what model tranny I have tho.

PTOs were available on the autos, but they were an option. Most autos do not have them. I believe all of the transfer cases have a PTO port.

If it's the stock tranny, the F250 LD's had the 4R100 on all 5.4L trucks. The F150's 4.2L and 4.6L had a 4R70W or a M5OD. The 5.4L F150's with the California emissions had the 4R100 (replacing the E4OD), as well.

Might want to double-check with the dealer?

I'm 99.9% sure it's the 4R100.

...I hate percentages.

No '99 or newer Superduty ever left Ford's factory with an E4OD. The 4R100 replaced the E4OD when the Superduty went into production.

There is no such thing as a 4R100e.
