E-brake installation

Hi- I'm trying to fix the emergency brake on my 1999 4.6L V8 F150. It has rear disc brakes and last time I changed my rotors the only thing that was left of the brake shoe was a small metal strip on the inside of the rotor. I couldn't get the piece back in when I was putting the rotor back on so I never replaced the shoe. I don't do much hardcore mechanic stuff, so I didn't even recognize the part when I picked it up from the autopart store b/c it was a huge shoe vs. the small metal strip that was protected on the inside of the rotor.

I ususally can figure stuff out from taking it apart but in this case I don't have anything to work with. I wanted to know if anyone has good instructions or a link with some pictures so I can change this myself. The Chilton manual doesn't isn't much help. Or if anyone has experience and this is a pain in the butt to do, I have no problem taking it to a mechanic. I just replaced the engine with a crate motor so I'm trying to save some cash but I can't get it inspected without an e-brake.

Any suggestions????
