HELP! loud whistling sound

i just put my exhaust manifolds back in with a new carb and now when i start my vehicle and let it run it has an obnoxiously loud whistleing sound, one of my friends says its a pump in my tranny,can anyone help me to indentify what it is?? i just wanna get my baby running!

There's a much better chance the problem resides in the area that was just
changed instead of in some other, unrelated place.

hmmm are you running a auto tranny, if so maybe the converter was not correctly coupled with the tranny or flywheel...

well when we started up the motor the tranny was super low on fluids so we put some in slowly , and it was my understanding that if you run your motor withn no tranny fluid goin threw the tranny you can burn out the pump

As for vacuum leaks i will look agian but i sprayed brake cleaner everywhere tryin to find one with no sucess,
