hi i just bought a 2007 ford f-150 roush stage 3 i need more power i was wondering what mods should a put on to gain more power truck is kind a slow and speed cuts on 100 miles and i wanna know if a can use a diablo sport predator to tune the truck if any of you have information on these trucks a will be apriciated thanks
Larger lower boost pulley (don't add more than about 1.5 - 2 lbs), plus a performance tune from Troyer Performance will net about 70 HP, plus remove the limiter.

i cant get a good tune i live in mexico a wanna know how can a get the speed limiter removed and if a diablo sport predator will help me tune the truck and what other things can i put to the truck to get more hp beside the blower pully and which pully its better you change the upper blower pully or the crank pully
Click the Troyer Perfomance link in my previous post. He can help you with a good tune through the mail, but obviously its not going to be as good as something on the dyno. No, you cannot use an off the shelf programmer with it unless you want to blow the engine. This means you cannot use a Superchips, Bully Dog, Edge or Diablo Predator. You must use a custom tune. Its better to change the lower crank pulley.

You'll need custom tuning for the gears, a regular tuner is not going to handle the Roush PCM code. For instance, the PCE1 Roush code has background timers the stand PCE1 code doesn't have.
If you don't drive a lot on the street, or mileage isn't a concern, gears are a great option. Just remember that you're going to see a mileage decrease. I wouldn't spray these trucks with a blower unless you get piston work done. The rings aren't the greatest and can fold if you use to big a shot. You could go with a 75 HP NOS shot and risk the rinks, or get a good tune with a larger pulley and do just as well without having to keep refilling a bottle, or gears with the pulley and tunes and do even better!

As far as gears and MPG; My MPG went up, on average.
I drive in the city primarily. My hi-way MPG remained the same.
I never cruise above 75 MPH for any significant distance.
Usually MPG suffers do to the sustained higher RPM during hiway cruising.
The reason my average MPG went up is do to my amount of city driving (85%).
Less pedal input is required to get the mass moving.
Greater mechanical advantage is given to the drivetrain therefore less torque is needed to get things going. This directly effects fuel consumption.
I went from 2.73s to 3.55s in my PI powered 96 GT.
That's a mechanical advantage of almost 30%.
Mileage remained @ 28MPG at 72 MPH.
City average went from 14 MPG to 16 MPG.
The performance difference is night and day.
My Lightning is getting regeared with 4.56s from the stock 3.73s.
That's an advantage of 22.3% or so. Not too drastic.
The motor is being freshened up right now too. I can't wait.
