i need some advice ya'll i have a 240 cid w/ 3 on the tree not sure what my gear ratio is but if i'm doing 45-50 mph i prettyy much topped out if any one knows what i can drop in my truck to make it a better daily driver especially with gas prices let me know and ill post in the want adds to for gears that would work if any body has any thing let me know
you meen like 4:10 or something do i need 3:83 more like a car gear right
I would say if you running stock tire you have at least 4.11
with stock size tires and not pulling much you can probly run 3.55 which would be in some cars
since you could have a dana or ford rear end the ratios may vary some, but in the nieghborhood between 3.50 and 3,70 should do good
don't know what year truck you have but in the year specific forums you can get some good advice
