Exclamation Will this intake make a seal w/ chip???? Pic

WHat so you think? will this make a seal with this chip in the face.

This is the side that mounts to the heads.

I'm thinking that will be fine. The chip is not beside a water passage or intake tract. I'd gook it up with a little blob of sealer, or better yet, fix the chip with JB weld or similar stuff.

That's only exposed to crankcase emissions and oil. I'd want to be sure it sealed, but there's actually very little pressure on it. If it leaked it may mess up the EGR system slightly by allowing unfiltered (dirty) air into the crankcase, where it's supposed to come in thru air filter and PCV system. I doubt you'd ever notice it if it leaked. But it doesn't look like it will leak.
