Question abs speed sensor

Are ABS differential speed sensors different for 4X4's. I have a 2000 F350, V-10, 4X4...the one that arrived looked the same but is not working..last one ordered worked fine, but I cannot remember if I stated it was four wheel drive..Also, how can I adjust the e-brakes...the truck is standard shift...thanks..

rugermack is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
I would think they would be the if the axle is the same. Maybe the VSS wasn't your problem. Can you have your codes checked ? Welcome to FTE.

Thanks for the input, I have no was to have the codes checked here in rural America..would have to take to the city...anyway, I also checked with other threads and found it could be a fuse...#13??? My book is gone, so if you have the time maybe you could verify this before I start pulling fuses. Last time I just replaced the sensor, no problem...I disconnected the battery to reset things yesterday, but no help..so I will take it back out and make sure the connections are clean...thanks, Will....

You can adjust just like any drum brake set up. Even though you have disc on the rear, there are small drum brake pads on the inside of the rotors. Look at the backside of the rotor for the small opening where you stick a flat screwdriver inside to get to the star adjuster wheel.
