Anyone taken their diesel for service there? Have leaking plastic turbo tubes, AC i want checked out and 05e15 recall i need to get done. Is this an acceptable shop?

My father in law has taken his truck to them before and he thought it was pretty squared away overall, but he usually goes to Gullo Ford, seems to like them a lot

Wink Be Choosy

I'm very particular about where I take my truck to these days. I bring it back now to Tommie Vaughan where I bought it - even though Joe Myers is a lot closer.

Never heard anything bad about Champion.

Joe Myers - where can/do I start? At 600 miles an injector came loose. Engine auto-shutdown to below 45 mph. Long way to drive to Tommie Vaughan from where this happened so I thought - ok Joe Myers should be able to handle. All seemed well until 3800 miles later, with the boat on the back, coming back from the lake, hottest day of the year last August, with my wife in the cab with me, 5 o'clock on Sunday afternoon. I was just thinking how great this truck was running and how well it towed, when it happened. Saw a flash of water & thought someone threw a water balloon at me - not even possible. The upper radiator hose blew off.

I'll cut the already too long story off here. Be careful where you take it. If a shop has a bad reputation - they probably earned it. It wasn't the first time I ever had my Ford serviced there & had problems, but I will try to keep it as the last.

I would highly recommend MacHaik Ford on Interstate 10 just east of the Sam Houston Tollway......probably about 12 or 13 miles east of Champion. I live close to Champion but always go to MacHaik for service.
