I have a front Caliper that is not retracting all the way and needs replacement. I check the ESP policy I got upon buying the X and it is a covered part. Now I am getting a story from the dealer that if I replace my rotors with an aftermarket part like Brembo's or Powerslots that I run the risk of nullifying the ESP coverage. WHAT THE .......?!?!?!?!?!?

 

If you put those rotors on the truck and there is a problem with vibration, pulling, etc.. they probably would not cover it... Another bad thing would be if a caliper hangs up and damages the rotor, they won't replace that type of rotor.

 

That rotor can not void the warranty on the caliper according to the magnuson-moss warranty act.

I said nothing about the caliper warrenty. What was said is that if the caliper damages the rotor they may not buy those rotors.
