LOVE the way this looks on your truck. do you remember what the offset and backspacing #'s were? also, what size tire is that?

17in rims. 285/75 in the back and 265/75 in the front. I wanted the slight tail high rake that the old tire wheel combo had but wish I had gone with a wider tire in the rear but oh well....I like it. I believe the backspacing is 4.5 which is standard backspacing for those rims. Offset..I don't remember. I didn't change it nor did the salesman tell me I had to. The only thing I had trouble with was rim diameter. Originally I was going to go with 16 inch rims but they were just a tad too small and rubbed the calipers on the front so i had to up size to a 17 inch rim. Got it all at Discount Tire. Pretty much all off the shelf...hope this helps.
Oh....I did have a little trouble with the lug nuts on the left rear since they are LH thread but there again Discount Tire kept digging until they got a set of 8 for me. (Im assuming your truck is an F-350?)

Alcoa wheels

I'm running 16-inch Alcoa "8-hole" wheels. No fitment issues on my 1976 F350 Supercab.

Are you sure they aren't 285/65R17 and 265/65R17? or maybe 70 series?
I don't think they made that tire in a 285/75R17 or 265/75R17.

Sorry to hijack!

Damn Photobucket! I'm trying to get ideas for wheels and tire fitment but half or more of the pictures are gone due to Photobucket's crap.
Looking to see what black steel rims, 15 x 8" would look like with 255/60r15 tires on one of out trucks. Mine is a '79 2wd Supercab.
