Hello- 04 expd eddy baure i get this beeping" sound that is constant for about 3-4 minutes and then stops and re-occurs every so often while driving. Is it a loud beep like a seat belt reminder? Do you have your seat belt fastened?
Is your equiped with a DVD player? If so, you could have a warning beep coming from that.
Did someone leave something plugged into one of the power outlets that could be coming on with an alarm when you start your truck?
Is there a large piece of construction equipment following you in reverse? (Sorry had to throw that one in...)
Just a few ideas from left field. Sometimes another set of eyes helps.
Give it a try.....let us know what you find!

It might be the seat belt reminder but it keeps going for like 8 to 11 beeps then will stop. Wife saids if she hits the wiper button the beeps start again. No DVD
Parking break is all the way up
All doors closed
Seatbelts are fastened
I also get this weird noise from the overhead compartment where the rear AC controls are at, sound like something viberating for a second when the keys are put in the ignition.
Thanks-

Find out whether it works or not. I wasn't making a diagnosis, I was suggesting one possible reason for your beeping.
I was specifically referring tot he lamp in the cluster, not the PAD assy.

I would also take a look at the SRS airbag system. Usually only the light will flash or stay on when the SRS detects a problem within the system. However, if the SRS detects that the airbag light bulb is blown, or the circuit to it has a problem, then the SRS will sound a constant tone to warn you of the bad bulb.
The simple way to check it, is to see if the airbag light comes on when you first start the vehicle. If it doesn't, then that's the reason for the tone you're hearing.

How odd I should see this today my exp was doing the exact same beeping all day off and on yesterday. At first I thought it was my cell phone and a missed message warning, but nope, never have found it. So could it really be a bulb out? Never heard that in all the 6 years I have had this and bulbs have gone out before?

Funny...I have an 05, and the door ayar light was on a few weeks ago...after raising my voice a the kids to close their doors...I got off and checked all the doors and tail gate...the light was still on...I was like what the hell!?!? I got off again and rechecked this time I also checked the hatch and found it not closed completely...

Replacing the whole cluster? That's a new one on me.
Take the cluster out yourself and just change the bulb.
Here's a pictorial in which it shows how to take the cluster out. Once it's out, give 1/4 turn on the ABS bulb socket and it should come out. The bulb pulls out of the socket.
