Dick,
there's nothing I can add to what our friends have offered here. But, I'll get Cole's prayer warriors on it first thing in the a.m. They snatched my grandson back to full health... 3 years cancer free !! I know what can be done if we just as God to give us what we need. Be strong for Darlene.

You're in our prayers. Just don't lose hope; I think that prayers are just or more effective than the medications and treatments.
Life is quirky at the best of times, just hang in there. Remember, he didn't promise you any tomorrows, but he did promise you eternal life.
I'm on my 3rd go around with the big C now. I retired at age 55 in Oct '05 and was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer in Dec of the same year and given 6 months to live. We beat that one only to have it return in my brain 16 months later. We beat that one also. It's now back in both lungs and lymph nodes. I'll find out next Wednesday if the chemo and radiation is working this time also. I may be called goofy by some but I've adopted the attitude that no matter how this turns out, I win either way. I've gotten a lot of tomorrows during the past 2 1/2 years; if it should end, I still win. When it comes right down to it; there's only 3 things that matter----Faith, Family and Friends. Good luck to you both. I'll burn a candle for yall.

Everyone is in my thoughts when I pray...from the starving kids in Africa, to the Bums in West Modesto.
It's my opinion that your faith needs/should be strong enough that pleads for help on a truck forum shouldn't be needed.
Please don't take this as an insult to your faith/religion, but think deep inside...50000 extra prayers won't make a difference, your faith and beliefs will.
Hope the best works out.
