I was making reference to the date. I'm well aware of what we are are building. It also depends on which product specialist your getting your info from. A couple of them are full of s**t and have no clue whats going on.
July 23rd is job 1. August 8 is the o.k. to start shipping, as long as the operators learn their jobs.

So if they are going to start shipping them 080808 then when are we going to get the HP and TRQ #s???
It would seem that if they were good numbers they would have given them to us, or they are so good they feel they can wait and everyone will be so shocked and suprised that we will not notice they waited so long. Those are the 2 schools of thought, now which one is right??

I am getting my info from a core member of the launch team not some temporary product specialist. Most of the temp product specialist act like they have no idea what is going on. I get my info from someone in the position like your boss.

Also, in regards to 7-23 job 1, I am being told that we will be laid off that week for reconstruction of the engine line and possibly the week after that, hence the 8-8 launch date. I did clearly ask them if we are building 08's till the 8-8 job 1 and he said yes. Oh well doesn't really matter, I'm just trying to share info and hope the truck sells.

In regards to operators learning their jobs, when the 09's come down the line the product specialist just step in the way and do it. How is the operator supposed to learn their job?

(A)Again, there are a couple of core members that have no clue whats going on as well as some of the non-core. Also, I don't have a boss...I have a supervisor who trusts me to do whats needs to be done

(B)See A. We don't know how long it will take yet to extend the engine line, we may or may not have an extra week for shut down.

(C) Two part problem. You have a few operators that don't want to learn the job and you have some product specialist (core and non-core) who don't have faith in the operator to do the job (mainly the core/non-core for 4 & 5). All the people I've trained are doing the job on their own.
