TheNomad is starting off with a positive reputation.
Is my engine dieing or just really sick.

Hello guys. a few years ago I spent a ton of cash for a new engine.
And right after my warranty went up I started to get this real bad ticking noise.
It only starts after every thing is warmed up it sounds sorta like a lifter, but it sounds like its coming all the way up from the Cam. The reason I say that is that even with my stethoscope I cant pin point where the sound is coming from it sounds like its coming from the whole left side of the engine.
Could this just be a lifter or could it be some thing much worse..?

Sorry, kinda tough to diagnosde on the internet. Not surprised you don't have more (any) answers. Gotta understand, noises are hard to hear from here. Check in with your local chapter, and I'm sure there's someone that will help.
