Anyone hear about on-demand supplemental hydrogen fuel?

Supplimental hydrogen fuel. Tell me what you know about it. I've been hearing about it from a few sources and done some research. It seems somewhat plausable. I'm getting reports of fuel economy increases from 26%-250% in all kinds of makes/models.
The most practical method is the on-demand hydrogen separater that makes hydrogen as it is used. Very simple construction, fill it up with water every 6 months with a little baking soda, and pipe it into the intake. It supposedly makes the gasoline burn 80% more efficiently in some cases.
Has anyone done this or any other supplemental hydrogen setup at all?
