Install a/c unit 06 Ranger

Has anyone installed an a/c unit (factory parts) in a 2006 Ranger 4.0. I need part number etc.

Installing AC in an '06 after buying one without? Probably doable with some effort. Part numbers for the whole system? I'm sorry, my friend, but you're dreaming.
If the '06 is anything like previous Rangers that I'm familiar with (02 and before), adding AC is basically removing the existing heater system and installing the complete MVAC system from a donor truck of the same year. No part numbers needed. There are no heavy body\firewall mods needed, but there are possible onboard module conflicts that may need to be addressed.

Unless you have a donor truck or deep pockets, consider aftermarket AC for about $2000.

Here is the truth on installing AC on your 1998 to 2008 Ranger pick up truck.
Its available here at Bought4Less (Direct link to product)
It is a 100% complete kit with every part required to install factory look, fit and function ac in the Ranger.
Its an easy install, It can be done in 45 minutes, if you've and your co-worker have done a few.
One guy, who has never done it before will need 5-6 hours. It can be done in stages.
It uses Ford factory controls, so from the seat its 100% factory looking and operation.
It uses a Sanden or Seltec compressor, a drop-in AC coil, hi-capacity condenser and crimped hoses.
All parts are NEW and have a warranty, and its less than $1,000

For zmurphy, The Wrangler unit is similar in its description of parts, fit and function as the Ranger unit..
