MPG Down ! ! ! 92 F 250

I have a 1992 F 250 Extra Cab 4X4 and my fuel mileage is down to 10 to 12 mpg down from 15 to 18 mpg that I got a year and a half ago. Not sure why or what to do. I have changed my air filter and oil about 2 months ago. The fuel filter is about a year old but I don't thing it starving fuel. I drive it every day and I change the oil every four months. I only log 5 to 6 k a year. Got any thoughts?

Thanks Joe

Yeah and they tested it on "Horse Power TV" but they also run ADS for it. I an NOT convinced yet, I want to see some more independant testing.
The only thing I can think of that will help is a time machine and if you have one of those the ULSD is a non-issue!

I also wonder why, if these gadgets work, doesn't any manufacturer use them on their production cars. It seems for little cost they would have a leg up on the competition.

If I was an auto.manuf. I would BUY THE WHOLE COMPANY and it's patents so no one else could use it.

Hey I ain't so smart, I once bought a magnet to put on my fuel line to "restructure" the fuel as it went through. I didn't stop to think "what are ferrous metals doing in my fuel"
Luckily that was a LONG time ago!

With a strong enough magnet, you can restructure molecules in non ferrous substances.

But the bad thing is, if you have a magnet that strong, all ferrous items anywhere close will be stuck to your fuel line as well.

Peterbuilt's, Kenworth's and the list goes on.

They all work, they get your money out of your pocket.

That is what most of them are designed to do.

I think my Cummins is pretty tough but I don't think I can piggy-back a couple-three semi trucks on it.

Maybe one at about 25 mph. until I break my clutch, trans.,X-case or rearend and I think it would off-set any fuel mileage gains. Actually simply the weight of the magnet might be too much all by itself.
