Will a 71 Bronco fit on a newer Ranger Frame

Hey all:

First time on the Bronco Side of the moon. Here is my question. I found a 71 Bronco that has been wrecked and I am thinking about buying it. I have always wanted this body style of Bronco and my Wife has always liked them also (she has good taste in Broncos and Men). Will an Older style Bronco fit on a newer Ranger Frame? If so have any of you guys done this and how much retro fitting did you have to do?

I have seen a ranger on a Bronco frame and running gear, i'm not sure why you would want to stick a Bronco body on a ranger frame, they don't get much stronger than a bronco frame.

The Frame is Trashed on the Bronco - It has been wrecked and cut up.

I would try to find another bronco frame somewhere. The come up on ebay from time to time. Like Brush Wagon says they don't get much stronger then the original bronco frame.
Its one of the few that was fully boxed from the factory.
I would try to find a good used one. Or buy a new one from Jeff's Bronco Graveyard.

X3. The frame is stronger and if you get a 71.5 or newer, it will have much better running gear than a Ranger.

The problem that you are going to have is the wheelbase difference. You will either end up stretching a Bronco body to fit the Ranger chassis, or bobbing a Ranger to fit the Bronco.
