6.9 needs power!!!!!

i have a old 6.9 and am looking for ways to get as much safe power with not much money needed. Thanks

you could do an air ram intake, just direct the air from the outside of the truck, search the form for that and you can get pics of what other people have done for ideas.

David85 is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
The cheapest way to get the most power is to look for a second hand turbo kit. I got an incomplete kit for $200 (had to fab the downpipe and crossover pipe). But usually they are in the $500 range. If you are patient the right deal will come along.

A ram intake will help, but to really make a difference that will let you hold those long hills on the highway, a turbocharger is the only real significant difference you are likely to find.

ok, air cleaners clean and cut the big baffle out of it. any other quick fixes???
