possible light problem

I have a 2003 windstar van and on sunday the inside lights would blink over the bumps in the road. headlights were turned on, inside lights were turned off or in a normal possition to see the speedometer ( I am reffering to the dimmer switch )today everything was ok. has anyone had this problem or can anyone give me some ideas what might have caused this ? ( light switch or wiring )

switch or wiring?
any of the above
many of the switches at the doors will be ground activated
a bad wire wire short to ground and you have light
start with the switch and if thats not it you will have to move on to the door contacts
do you have a timer on the lights that activates with the ext. door handle and key fob
if so this switch could also cause your problem
unable to advise on the location of any of these other switch locations
good luck

Clean the contacts on the sliding door or the rear hatch. When you hit a bump you might be loosing the conection and it thinks the door is open. Are you getting the door open light on the dash?
