horsepower limit on producton 351w

I am looking into building a 351w based stroker, more than likely a 393. This motor will be under boost so I don't need excessive RPM probably around 6 to 6500 at most.
I know on all production blocks a main girdle is almost a necessity on any performance application.
What I need to know is how much power can a stock block with a girdle staying under 6500 RPM handle.
And what block casting numbers are preferrable. i.e blocks with the highest nickel content

Any help would be appreciated.

You should be looking for 69-71 blocks with casting dates of C90E (Torino's or Fairlane's) and D1AE (ford products). These will have higher nickel content than any other years of 351W. Alternativly, you may run across a Mexico block. These have two large round "humps" located on both sides of the front of the block near the top edge of the cylinder deck.
