86 300 swap for built 400

I know that someone in here can help me with this, I've got a 86 F150 2wd with a 300 I6 with automatic and I've got a freshly rebuilt 400 with auto tranny. I wonder what is it going to take to complete the swap. For example, what kind of motor mounts will I need, are they easy to get? And is the original radiator up to the job or do I need to shoehorn the donor car, an LTDs Radiator. Will the linkages on the tranny be the same, and what about the driveshaft will it need to be shortened or lengthened any and all info will be greatly appreated!

The 400 should bolt in with stock motor mounts from an f-250 that had a 400 in it if ford made one, and no the radiator is not big enough for the 400 but a 3 core radiator from a f 250 will work. You have to take the support brackets off of an core support from an f250 and weld or bolt them on to the core support in your f-150.

I bet the 400 doesn't have a rear sump oil pan if it's out of a car. You will need one for it to fit in the truck, along with the oil pump pickup, dipstick, etc.
