2002 F-250 4x4 V10 Up's and Downs?

I'm looking into buy a 2002 F-250 4x4 V10 Diesel what are good and bad things about them? Theres 3 I can pick from. Is there certain things I should look for? Thanks...

FFemt5287 is starting off with a positive reputation.
the v10 was a gas, not a diesel. 6.8L if i recall correctly. the diesel option in 2002 was a 7.3l. if it is infact a diesel i think you'd find the answers to your questions in the 1999-2003 section of this forum. hope this helps.

Lead Head is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
The ford 6.8L V10 has always been a gas engine.

The 2002 diesel would be the 7.3 Liter power stroke

oh ok thanks for clearing that up! The 3 I'm looking at are V10s. Do you know much about them?

not too much. however, if you go to the listing of all of the forums on this site and scroll down you will find a forum specifically for the 6.8l v10 engine. should be able to provide you with all the information you'll ever want to know and then some there.
