I relocated from central PA to Cleveland NC about 8 months ago. I thought I would say hey and let ya know what I have goin on. I had just bought a 76 F100 that Im looking to restore, not sure if restore is the right word. Im gonna fix it up a bit make it nicer but still gonna use the hell out it. I have a 95 Bronco Im gonna part with, it doesnt really suit my needs in the south. I am lookin to buy an Escape for the wife here in the near future. Anyway I thought I would just make myself known, we like the south so Im gonna stay.
Welcome to NC from up here in Statesville !! Ahhh good ol' Cleveland....I work right there in the middle of it !!! If you're needing anything for your 76...just ask cause for awhile I was trying to corner the market around here in 73-79 parts

Hey Dude! Welcome to NC and to the NC Forum. I've gotten rid of most my big trucks. Since I'm poor I just keep a couple little vans to work out of, etc.
Hey, nothing wrong with older trucks! A neighbor just sold a 1977 F-250?, 400 engine, 4X4 highboy that I'd have LOVED to have. He offered it to me less than $2000 and it was really nice original condition, red paint faded some. Original white wagon wheels. Little rust. 4 speed I think.
No money dude. Plus was stretching to buy a road vehicle to work out of, as mine was inconveniently dying. If it got better mileage I'd have jumped on it. I sometimes drive for hours and needed a road truck. And I wasn't employed either.. had to buy using a credit card. Bad deal.
I hate how good deals come at bad times. Its like the paradox we are seeing now, high fuel prices and great deals everywhere. I wish I could fortell the future of oil and know it would come back down. I would be jumping on some of these nice trucks and SUV's for sale. Starting to think about getting a bike to get back n forth to work.
