Got the new engine in, finally worked most of the bugs out of it so I decided to post a new exhaust clip:

truck also has 36" tires with stock 3.50 gears, still moves pretty darn good!!

this is by far the best sounding truck on this thread. kaotikedge, how big is the cam in the motor, also what series is the flowmaster?

exhaust movie 2

This is after i finished the installing the hei ignition module with with tfi coil, and new air cleaner.
I also put a 100 amp one wire alt on, along with a aftermarket headlight harness.
What a difference that makes.
Rebuilt the whole wire harness from the engine bay all the way back to the tail lights
The PO had bypassed the fuse box completely.
Had everything hot wired.
I also painted the engine compartment.
I love the way this exhaust sounds.
What do you think.
I also replaced the clutch.
It will roast the tires now!!!
straight through no cats or mufflers
hope you like

This is inside the cab after I finished rewiring the dash.
Vacuum gauge on dash to monitor engine. Works great.
Voltmeter that stay right at fifteen volts.
I put a ipod ready pioneer radio in( love it) sounds great no more cd's, no more cassettes, or 8 tracks. Just plug and go.
I need to put the head liner back in.
I also need to repair the floor boards.
Hope you like.

finally after 6 months i have some good sound clips. the first one is at idle, the chop u hear is not from the cam. im not sure what happened while it was sitting but it has a slight miss at idle now. the second one is of a rev sweep in 1000 rpm incriments.

truck has (see sig for engine mods) headers,y pipe running into a Moroso Spiral muffler, 45* bend and some kind of large tip (i forget the size, had it laying around). system is all 2 1/2" in size after the headers.

Harte,

Our trucks sound a LOT alike. I can't believe you have a turbo muffler, it sounds baffled like a Flowmaster. What size muffler are you running? Your truck does sound really good though, very mean and very respectable. I appreciate the sound clips, I've been wanting to hear your truck for a long time since I heard that one you put up a year or two ago.

I'm blown away by how close our trucks sound like. The only difference between the two is mine has a deep "pop pop pop" coming off a rev. I think it's the unburnt fuel, right? I do like it though, lol. I'm almost tempted to get a sound clip of my truck just to show you how close they sound like.

Okay Harte, now it's time to get the lil' lady to hold your camera while you go WOT from a dead stop. =D

Okay guys, I finally took a GOOD sound clip.. if youtube ever loads it, I'll post it here. Anyone mind telling me how to instal a youtube video on a post?

Harte, when I upload the video I want to know what you think.
