Hey crest, can you take another video showing your whole truck? I'd like to hear you rev it up too. Don't put the camera so close to the tail pipe next time.

Digital camera miss a lot of detail the human ear picks up but it's close enough. However, having the camera too close to the tail pipes doesn't enhance the sound, only inhibits it. I'm eager to hear another sound clip, Crest! Come on!

how bad does it resonate in the cab with the glass pack and how long of a muffler did you use?

Glasspacks sound horrible on 300's.

on the contrary, if you use a glasspack with both cats, as i did, it sounds very good, and it is loud in the cab but nothing too unbareable, i loove the sound of it, and i have the shortest glasspack that i could find, i love the sound

Crest is correct. "Horrible" was way too harsh. What I should have said is, "It doesn't sound bad, but it could sound better." I ran glass packs on my truck before. What sounds good to one man may sound bad to another. What I don't like about glasspacks is how they give you that BLAH! BLAT! sound when you rev.

With that said I'm going to say something to contradict myself. Glasspacks sounded good on my truck compared to the flowmaster 40. My truck sounded like a Honda with the flowmaster. That's why I used a Magnaflow on the Escape and not a baffled muffler. I wanted the Escape to rumble down low and get quiet as you accelerate. The Magnaflow does just that.

It really all depends on what you do with your cats. I think a 300 sounds good with nothing after the cats. Sounds like a tractor!
