Hood dress up

The black ABS plastic insert in front of the windshield on my '99 SD is broken. Does any body know where I can order a stainless or aluminum replacement? What is the thing called?

ReAX is gaining momentum as a positive member of FTE.
The cowling between the hood and the windshield? I've seen such a thing on jeeps and it looks really trashy. Even if you did find one, it would most likely be a cover and you will need a decent cowl to stick it over.

Perhaps you can JB weld it back together, sand, prime and paint it. I'd suggest a flat or semi-flat black or ptm, but you could try having it chrome plated or painted in a metallic color.

Look, see these two tow hooks? They look like tusks. And what kind of animal has tusks?

there's a very fine line between not listening, and not caring. I like to think that I walk that line every day of my life.

Actually I was thinking along those same lines, except, I think I'll paint it the same color as the truck... White.

BTW, nice truck. I like the front bumper.
