anyway I have been looking a little bit for a T-5 and or as O D transmission. I found a few trucks one was an running 89 ford f-250 5.0 5 speed he said it is the O D trans and wants $500.00 for it. another I think 87 F-250 four spd for $400 both are 4X4's anyone have any tips for identifying a O D or t-5 to put in my 51?
I am a long way from being ready for a trans but want to start looking so I know a good deal when I see one, and so I know what the heck im looking at! also would the rearend out of one of those F-250 work?? if its a 9" ?
