1957F100 is starting off with a positive reputation.
Installing New Yoke

Well im finally getting my new yoke installed today. Ive never installed one before so i was hoping you guys can give me some tips from your experiences.
Also does anybody know where i can find the torque specs for the pinion nut? and do i need to tourque down the 4 bolts for the straps holding the u joint in the yoke? Thanks

On the rear axle torque is 160 foot pounds.
I like to add a couple drops of Lock Tite to the threads before I install the nut.

yes, loc-tite is a must. the pinion nut on the 10.25s like to work loose and good things happen when it does. make sure it is red loc-tite.

are you replacing the pinion seal too,no better time than now.
