plowhand has a good reputation on FTE. plowhand has a good reputation on FTE.
I don't know if they are shorter but you could call Bronco Graveyard (site sponsor) or LMCtruck.com and ask them to measure them for you, they sell all of them.

What does early 1980's mean?

What exact year?

You need to be specific when asking questions like this.

There are four different cables used 1980/86.

The same cable that fits a Bronco also fits F100/350's.
-------------------------------------------------
1980: 255/302/351M/400: EoTZ9A758B / 20 7/8" -long.

STILL available from Ford = MSRP: $61.72 / ftepartsguy.com price: $34.81
================================================== ======
1981 EARLY: 255/302/351M/351W/400: E1TZ9A758B / 21 1/2" -long.

STILL available from Ford: $56.81 / ftepartsguy.com price: $32.04
================================================== ===
1981 LATE & 1982/86: 255/302/351-2V: EITZ9A758E / 19 3/4" -long.

STILL available from Ford = MSRP: $66.55 / ftepartsguy.com: $37.54
================================================== ====
1984/85: 351-4V: E4TZ9A758d / 22 1/2" -long.

STILL available from Ford: MSRP: $54.00 / ftepartsguy.com: $30.46
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1990/91 351W: There are four different cables used.

It depends on the Production Date (before/after 3/90), type of transmission, how the cable mounts.

Two of the cables are 38" long, the other two cables lengths aren't listed.
================================================== =================================
PLOWHAND: The reason Bronco Graveyard and lmc "sell all of them" is because they are buying them from Ford.

Great Info. See, you learn something new everyday. I take it from your signature that you have access to Ford parts info and that you can look up #'s. If that's correct, you could really useful.

That is correct, Sir.

I've been on FTE for almost 18 months, have over 14,000 posts, 1597 rep points and 11 greenies...so I guess I've been useful.

I didn't have any 1991 and later Ford parts catalogs till just recently, prolly why you've never seen my posts before.

Not only do I have all the truck catalogs from 1948 thru 2002, but have access to where parts....available or obsolete can (usually) be found.

btw: This is gratis.

Very good sir. You should start a thread here telling everyone what you are willing to do as far as parts # look up. I'm sure that alot of people in this forum could and would use your vast years of experience and knowledge. Have a great day.

4/1/2008..I posted a thread in the 87/96 forum that I now have the catalogs.

btw: I have the 1965/72 & 1973/79 car parts catalogs for one specific reason.

Bronco parts are listed in the car parts catalogs thru 1979.

Going to Knoxville for the SuperNats? Maybe we'll meet there.

Thanks for the rep.

Is there any way for you to publish any of these parts catalogs? it would be nice to look for a part's number before i go asking anywhere.
