rear shocks

i've got a long bed reg cab 4x4 f-250. i'll be replacing my rear shocks soon and i was thinking about buying monroe "max air" shocks from oreilly. has anyone used these air shocks on a 3/4 ton truck? would they hold up to the weight of the truck?

They claim to be useful to add 1100 lbs of capacity / load leveling. But on a truck with a couple ton capacity, 1100 isn't substantial (esp considering the truck weighs 3 tons itself). I'm using them to correct my sagging springs on my volvo, work great for that, but the car only weighs 3400 lbs. If you want air supports, it would be best to get truck specific bags (separate from the shocks). My $.02
