What size stock exhaust?

What size stock exhaust?
What is the exhaust diameter on the 4.6's? Couldnt find it any where online. I am thinking it is probably 2 inch but I'm not positive. I am going to make some clamp on pipes and remove the rear 2 cats. Thanks

2.5" if in not mistaken...

yeah i think all the ford trucks are using the 2.5 exhaust. i knot the 5.4 and the 4.2 use the 2.5 inch. i dont see why the 4.6 wouldnt

it's been 2.5" on trucks since at least 1992. V-6 or V-8...or I-6

Hmm.... I thought the stock outlet on my 06 was 2.25. I dont have it anymore to verify.
