1945 1.5 ton farm truck question

I bought a piece of property in the Cascade mtns about 6 years ago that came with a 1945 Ford flat bed that was down in a stand of trees. I pulled it up into the shop and did a title search only to find out it is a 45'. Since then I have gathered a few parts and have clear title. I have always planned on doing a simple resto on it, but I really don't think that is going to happen. It appears all original, has owners manual and the flathead turns over, but hasn't been started. I have all of the original grill pieces and a new (original) instrument panel.

The question is, do you think there is any value in this truck if I were to decide to sell it. If so, What have you found to be the best place to do so?
I appreciate your feedback and suggestions.

Dan

There's value in everything...price depend on timing...problem with the '42-47's is they're just not as appealing as the 40/41, or earlier models...best thing to do (IMO) is get it running and driving, then look for selling it off.

Ebay is a place to start to get an idea...fordbarn.com is good too.

Also, join the HAMB (Jalopyjournal.com), someone might think it'd be cool to turn into a car hauler/etc with.

FWIW, ANYTHING old, that runs and drives is worth a grand, add to it your FH V8, if lowmilage and runs well, you could get a grand just for it.

Pics of the truck (both good and bad) will really help the sale, so don't be shy with the digi-cam
