Conversion Van Parts?

The blower motor on the rear air of my '01 Econoline conversion has died. The conversion company (LA West) no longer exists.

I checked on-line and found CPC Parts which shows the part but hasn't responded to my purchase request.

I found V Sales, but they don't sell to the end user. Discount van/truck doesn't carry blower motors, nor did RV and Van Surplus.

Anyone here have any ideas?

Try a Mobility Equipment (Wheelchair Van) Dealer. They often install after market Rear AC units. Google NMEDA (National Mobility Equipment Dealers Association) and your state.

Didn't the conversion companies get them from Ford with Ford installed rear
ACs?
Therefore, a Ford blower motor?

Many of the Converters used cheeper after market rear H/AC units. The factory units often did not suit the layout of the conversion (larger & longer windows for example.)

Many Converters got out of the bussiness in the early 90's due to liability issues. Finding replacement interior items for those vans can be very difficult.

Have had several and ofter found it cheaper to have a new unit installed than to repair a broken one. Example was a broken Captains chair to remove/replace with an identical would have cost more than replacing both with new after market chairs.
