F100 eBay find...

As Stevie Wonder would say, "Isn't she lovely, isn't she beautiful?"

1K miles and it runs great? Doubt it. It only has 1500 miles, and yet the tailgate is sagging more so than my 189,000 mile 1980. And the incorrect chrome center caps. I'm not sure where the factory black center caps went, but they're definitely not there now.

Still a nice truck though. Not really worth $8K at all, since it's a bare bones F100.

Nope, most 1980 trucks came factory with the clear turn signal lenses. They switched to amber in mid-1980

$7,600.00 and the reserve hasn't been met yet? I don't think it is going to sell. 2wd f100 I6 just doesn't sound that desirable to me. To each their own I suppose.

Still a nice truck, but I am thinking more like 101,151 on the clock.

She's got some bad alignment on the panels and bed/ cab area, front bumper is skewed and a lot of corrosion in areas that indicate a lot more use, I.E. The throttle pedal and brackets.

The engine has been repainted the wrong color. It looks like Old Ford Blue. The correct color for 1980 would have been Ford Corporate (dark) Blue.

AND the frame was re-painted.

Just looked back at the pictures, and you can clearly see where the rust is showing through some of the undercoating they sprayed on!

Yeah, it looks nice but not as nice as they make it out to be.

You can also see the fresh undercoat over spray in the last pic on the left rear wheel

And missing the plastic sleeves on the door latch posts. One of mine was still there at 23 years.

The motor in my 82 was dark blue. So dark it was almost leaning towards purple. That blue in the pics really doesn't look like a factory engine color.
